My passion for photography began at a young age. At 14, I bought my first DSLR camera, marking the start of my love for photography, which led me to study the craft in Bavaria. During my studies, however, I discovered an even greater fascination with filmmaking.

Originally from southern Germany, near Stuttgart, I moved to Hamburg for a six-month internship at The Marmalade Studios, one of the largest production companies in Europe. At The Marmalade, I worked as a focus puller and had the opportunity to meet some of Germany’s most renowned Directors of Photography. After my internship, I continued working at The Marmalade as a working student and decided to stay in Hamburg. Today, I work here as a freelance Director of Photography and 1st AC.
